We've participated in the annual Shasta Regional Medical Center Turkey Trot every year since moving to Redding (our 3rd one) on Thanksgiving Day morning. It's a tradition in the Ferrari family for our children to partake in t

he "Dieselhorse Dash" which they all love. The girls are now too old because it's from ages 0-8, but the little boys absolutely loved it. This year, Zachary and Jaxon were on their own in the 0-2 division, while Tyler and Jonathan participated in the 3-year old division and Jacob was in the 7-8 year

old division. It was pretty hard since we had to get up at the crack of dawn. (We have to be at the bridge by 7:30am- a little too early for us)
Hence, the no makeup, wake up out of bed look. Did we mention it was 40 degrees!! Tyler was so excited he got his Turkey chocolate sucker and because he's such a superstar- we of course had to let him eat it, even though it was 9am in the morning. Zachary pretty much didn't have a clue what was going on, so he just sat quietly in his stroller while we strolled him along. He too got a sucker but he was generous enough to give it to mommy and daddy (which we were glad to take it since he offered). After the Turkey Trot we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Ferrari's with the rest of the family- all 22 of us!! It's always a g

reat time spending time with family. To a great day to be thankful for and a great praise to A. Lincoln for declaring Thanksgiving Day as the 4th Thursday of the month.
