It's Summer... oops I mean Spring.

It was 100 degrees yesterday in Redding so after running errans all day, we decided to make the most of it and play in the water outside in the backyard. The boys had so much FUN! Zachy loved the hose and would not put it down and Tyler was was trying to kill all the "bugs" with his Bubble Gun!

Pilot Bound

Tyler was so excited to get to sit in the cockpit of a Air Force C-5. He told Lt. Dan (the pilot of the plane) that he "didn't want to work at the hospital like daddy but I want to be a pilot. But not this plane. This plane is boring and not a rocket ship or a spaceship. I want to fly fast planes." Lt. Dan was such a trooper and told Tyler, "That's great plane to fly Tyler." Tyler just responded, "I know!" The things that a 3 year old says. They are so innocent yet they say what is exactly what is on their minds. If us adults could be so truthful sometimes. Lt. Dan was so good at giving Ty the tour of the plane and explaining how to fly and what buttons were what. He even let Ty pull on the throttle!

The boys loved the Easter Service at church but really loved the Easter Egg hunt. Tyler enjoyed the music while Zachy enjoyed eating cheerios. This year Tyler was really into finding Eggs. Zachy didn't get to partake in the Easter Egg hunt because he took his daily nap and slept for several hours. One of the most important day was celebrated today when we get to thank Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. We are so blessed!

The Birthday Girls

It's not everyday that you hear of mother-in-law and daughter-in-law have the same birthdays so it's a tradition in our household to go out to dinner April 1st and celebrate our birthdays together. This year we went to Rivers Restaurant and had a lovely tradition. The tradition was started 4 years ago when we moved to Redding. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Here are some pictures of the Mt. Shasta Family Ski Day. Tyler had a blast with all his cousins. It was Marina's 1st time ever snowboarding and Miles was visiting from Florida. Zachy even got the opportunity to play in the snow.

Tyler loves to ski and thinks he's a pro now that he's a big boy because he can get off the lift by himself and goes down the "advance" run on Douglas. We got a quick video him going down the hill on Marmot. It was his very last run of the day after skiing Douglas all day. He did so good!
